Just one question. Do 6.2L engines with a one piece rear main
seal???I spotted some place on the diesel page that sells 6.2L diesels with one piece rear main seals and also offers the 6.2 with two piece rear main seals under a different p/n.
    Thanks
    Mike

1982-1989 (I believe are the right years) 6.2L blocks had two-piece rear main seals. After that they switched to one-piece seals.

The one-piece seal blocks are a little more desirable and usually cost more.

    Thanks for the info,

Figures I would have to have an 89, just to make the job a bit more difficult.
