    Does anyone know of a company that makes a 6 on 5.5 wheel in 16.5 dia ? thanks - Andy

    andy try tires and rims of america in calexico. that's where i got my 8lug 15 made. he personally knows the supplier up in orange county and told me he can get any type of combinatin made. (760) 768-8696 ask for john, he's the only one that knows his stuff.

    umm for my hummer tires on my beefed ORD 10bolt and 12 bolt and i dont feel like swapping the axles off my CUCV yet ...
    that answer it ?

    In no way am I making fun of your plan. I am very happy to see someone else who is willingly running 1/2 ton axles. I just have never thought of putting 16.5''s on them since 15''s seem to hold the beed better, but hey if you get the right deal on the tires, I guess that it would be worth changing rims.

    anyways , i had an idea for a "fix" for the 16.5s and yes i got a good deal lon the tires <i think> see my other post"Chasing BorregoK-5" i like my 1/2 ton axles ,they have clearance and are ligther so they are easier for my 305 to haul around . - Andy

    NO stupid qustions . only ones that arent asked.

    cucv stands for commercial utility cargo vehicle . it is a military k30 . d60 front 14bolt rear most had th400s and 208 some had 205s .
