    sorry this isnt about a k5..but my dad is trying to restore his imapala..and we need a front left fender, a grill and maybe a hood..(got hit by a deer)..so we can repaint it..any one know were we could get some good parts like this...

    Try looking in wrecking yards...to bad your not this way, they are a dime a dozen here in oregon.

    i have a few 67 impala interior parts but this doesnt look like this will help you.out here in pa they crushed most everything before 1980 so there aint nothing left really junk yard wise out here.i had foun one that had some old stuff but a couple months ago they shut down and crushed everything also. /forums/images/icons/mad.gif

    yea well thanx anyways...we are going to worry bout the interior later..right now we just wanna get the outside lookin good again..mostly need the front grill, and front LF fender..

    Yep, just take a road trip to Central Oregon, or Washington. Alot of old cars like that available out here and rust free to boot.

    Got a pic of what the car looks like? I might even know where one is parked if I knew what it looked like.

    fellow 64 impala owner here! got a 64 SS in the phases of a complete resto........ the impala parts are really hard to find...... if you got the money and can go new you can get all those parts new...... from www.classicindustries.com and im sure others........ as others suggested check ebay..... ive seen some real good deals on grilles and fenders...... but hoods are hard to find! email me at impalass@cruzers.com if you want to talk impalas or visit my impala website at www.geocities.com/xframeimpala

    yea i have some pics of it in my webshots..and thanx for all the help ill keep those yards on hand! well ive already contacted a couple people..one in arizona..and one in colorado about some parts so thats lookin good so far..but i will def. keep your suggestions on hand..thanx guys.. /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

    uhhhh well its basicly a bare body on a bare frame right now but i got some pics of it at http://groups.msn.com/68k10/impala.msnw?Page=1 as you can see it has some bad cancer spots but...... i bought this car before i knew any better and im gonna work with what i got

    ahh ok yea then ive seen it lol. well i have been talking to a couple guys on parts now one in AZ the other in oregon..think im all set with most ofthe parts now..
