64" springs

    64\" springs

    any sugestions on installing 64" springs on a 74 jimmy...
    it would put the axle back 3"...any problems or hassle i might have..it would be shackle flip...any advise would helpful...

    Yeah, I'm wondering the same thing. I have 63" springs out of a 89 1/2ton longbed. I don't want to move the front spring mount but instead I would like to just move the axle back. Is there enough frame? ANy other issues?

    they out of a 98 1ton dually..i would using the top 4 springs

    don't forget that you'll prob need to lengthen drive lines with that.

    If you did not move the front spring hanger it would move your axle back 5.5 to 6"...not 3"

    unless your coming out to my folks place you won't see it. i've still got to get my driveshafts and exhaust built and then buy the shocks. i'm working night and day to get this thing ready for the pirate party! /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
