    Hi there ..

    I am plan to replace my '74 Blazer TH350 with a TH700 ??

    Any modifications ??
    Any suggestions ??

    Get a later model T700, or get one that has been built.

    Go buy the biggest cooler you can fit, and put a temp. gauge in the pan. Shoot for tranny temps in the 150* range.

    There is more, but that is my contribution....

    Thanx SUBFAN for the reply ..

    I was told that I have to replace the driveshaft 'coz its shorter in the TH700 Tranny .!!

    is that right .. and do they have the same spline count ??

    Not trying to hijack, but I'm doing this in reverse due to a blown tranny. Is it a direct swap? If not, what are the differences?

    Also, Blaze74 - What are you gona do with your 350? I'f it is blown, I'm looking for the dipstick & tube and a Diesel convertor still.
