Has anyone removed thier turbo 350 and installed a 700r. What is the spline count on the th350, and what about the output shat on the 700 is it longer then the 350. I know thay have the same bolt patten, just the 700's case is longer than the 350. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

They both have a 27 spline output, but the shaft sticks out farther on a TH700r4. I believe it is around 1.5" You can swap in a different output shaft to make it work. ORD sells one http://www.offroaddesign.com but the 700r4 has to come completely apart and it can get pretty spendy unless you can do it yourself. You can get an adapter from Exaxt axle. http://www.exaxt.ca/misc.asp It is basically a spacer that fits between your 700r4 and the stock T-case adapter to make up for the longer output shaft length. Mac at Exaxt is very helpful and should be able to answer any of your questions.

    Re: 700r-350 (need help bad!)

Does anyone know where I can find an adapter to go from a NP205 to a 700R4? I've got a TH350 right now and it's givening me problems, and since I'll be driving to school everyday (30miles one way), overdrive would definetly help. I checked the link above and no luck, any ideas?

The 700r4-203 adapter from Exaxt will work if you have a 205 that originally came behind a TH350. The adapter bolts between the transmission and the t-case adapter. This mounting surface is the same for any transfer case that came from a TH350.
