How many of yall are using a 700r with a NP205? Thinking of doing the swap when I put the BIG BLOCK in. Not sure if I want to give up the overdrive for a TH400.

    Dreaming of a BIG BLOCK!!

I am running a 700R4 with 205 combination. My engine is only a 350 TBI, but have had no problems as of yet. I had a shop build mine to heavy duty specs with a corvette servo. I am running 35 inch tires with 14 bolt FF rear and 10 bolt front, both equipped with lockers and 4.10 gears.

I may be slow, but I sure am fat!

After the gear swap from 3.08 to 4.10, I went to a 700/205 combo and now that I have all of the bugs worked out, love it. I have to commute 25 miles to work (one way) and have acces to 4000+ acres in the panhandle of Texas, 3000 in Fla, and 2000 in Ok. Needed the OD badly.
