Ive got a 700R4 with a B&M shift kit and I love it. The overdrives the best part especially if youve got big tires and low gears. Ive got 35's and 4:11s and it chirps into 2nd. gotta love it!

I have a tci built 700R4 in my K10 I love it I think it's tougher than the b&m TH350 I had before mine is built for all out racing (Sand Drags) full manual valvebody, trans brake, 2800 stall convertor, and Extra deep pan. it shifts SUPER HARD >plus First gear is way lower on a 700r4 than a th400 or th350 /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif

This may be off the subject but, what does it take to mate a 700r-4 to a 205?

well if you have a 205/350 combo all you'll need is a 2in spacer. If you get a 205 from something like a 465/205 combo you'll have to change the input shaft to the 27 spline.

I am on my 4th 700r4. The first one second gear went out. The second one second gear and reverse were going out. The third one second gear went out. Not to much of a pattern here. I like the tranny but you have to take care of them. Cooler is a MUST. The stock one isn't good enough. A shift kit helps.
