    There's a little bit of bad blood between CK5 and the Raptor. A couple of years back a member here got screwed badly by their service manager and the only way the issue got dealt with was when a bunch of us emailed the service manager(Don was his name IIRC) and told him we'd spread the word about his poor treatment of customers unless he made things right for said member.

    agreed... i have a raptor and its never let me down, from what I can tell its a very nice 700... that said, I wouldnt deal with them again because of the customer service problem noted above. If you have the $ for a raptor, get one from Jet instead.

    jek hows it shift ? will it light tires up on 1-2 shift? i have a stroked 350 its now 388 cid and with my th350 it will it will smoke the tires on 2nd gear shift

    I've heard a lot of good things about Bowtie Overdrives http://www.700r4.com/ There are quite a few people on here running them (wish I was).

    Yea... Bowtie Overdrive is sposta have a NICE one, if you talk to the tech there you will be in wow on how much they know /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif and they hade absolutly no problem explaing every part to me... I plan to order one soon

    thanks guys gonna call bowtie and see what they say. hate to by tranny from outta state but want good one .dont think local builders will build a strong enough unit
