Does any one know the difference between 64cc heads, and 70cc heads? I've decided to upgrade to 383 with edelbrock heads, but I need some clues on cylinder heads, and piston compression ratio.
    Thanks

Most pistons and compression ratios are based on the 64cc heads.

For instance, I got 11.5:1 pistons... BUT i put on my 76 cc heads, which gave me a 9.2:1 compression ratio.

So now, if I want performance heads. I will have to run 100 octane gas. It is hard to find good performance heads that are 76cc.

    It's all fun...
