72 1ton pickup?

    In 1972 was there a 4X4 1 ton pickup model. And if there was, what kind of beef was built into them. And are we still talking drum brakes and manual steering? Here is waht the ad says and I think Ill call right now:

    Ok, the guys not home so its probably a 3/4 ton.

    They cam in 3/4 ton.

    The biggest difference is the big eaton rear. the 8 lug front dana 44.. bigger breaks, double diaphram break booster.

    Im sure there are a couple of other things that I haven't found different yet...

    Oh yeh... the double diaphram booster requires a shorter bracket than the 1/2 ton comes with...

    check the title and registration papers, they will say 3/4 ton or C/K20 i bet, no 1 ton 4x4 til sometime after 72, at least from factory anyways
