I have had a 72 Suburban 1/2 ton 4x4 for several years, and I have been using it for a parts truck on body/interior issues. Since the body was pretty bad when I got it, I really never had any intentions of restoring it............to make a long story short, the body got really bad, so I just took what was left of it and scrapped it.

Now for the good parts that are left: I have a complete rolling chassis for a 72 4x4 1/2 ton Suburban. The frame is good and straight, the axles are both there, it has a 307 short block (no heads and would need rebuilding), a 3-speed manual transmission, and a NP205 T-case. For someone who has a 2WD with a good body, this is a great place to start on a 4WD project (I've already done a body swap from a 2WD to a 4WD, and it's no big deal.

If you're interested, I'll take and send some photos.........make me a reasonable offer. dnp dnpcorp@netdoor.com
