72 Blazer gas tank

    Has anyone used the poly gas tank kit offered by any of the aftermarket suppliers? Any input, good or bad would be appreciated.Thanks

    i havent done the swap yet, but i should be doing it in the next month. my brother has a 1970 k5 and he said that his works well. dont really know what brand it is.ill try to find out...later......tmanofcali

    I got a harwood poly tank from summit racing witch came with a sending unit. I mounted it in my blazer and it works good and looks good in there too.

    I have the same exact one as Burt4x4. I also have the SAME EXACT problem as Burt4x4. Kind of weird, same tanks with the same problems. Now I know what the sale was for. [​IMG] One of these days I want to get a nice metal tank with more capacity, so let us know what you find out.

    Ploy is a great idea to never have to worrie about rust but other than that......
    21 gal is just not enough fuel...
