72 dana 44 bleeder screws for 83 10 bolt calipers ?

    does anyone know if 72 blazer dana 44 bleeder screws would work in 83 10 bolt calipers ?

    need to know, i have a pair of 72 blazer calipers with good screws and i need them for the 83 k20, if they will work ?

    NO !! They are very close but they are metric vesus standard. I believe 7/16 vs 8mm ? Or something...those numbers could be wrong but i know those are different threads.

    that stinks,

    i noticed that one of the dana44 ones are 10mm and other wasnt, and i dunno what the 10 bolt ones are, i didn read the socket, just tried a bunch til one fit

    My 88 Jimmy has 10 bolts and they are 10mm.

    Ummm writing this question post prolly took longer than it would to actually try them. Just go out... unscrew the one, try the other in it. If it fits, rock on. If it doesnt, put the other one in. Why do you need to change them? Not much can go wrong with them other than stripping the socket end. If they arent stripped, just take a small piece of wire and clean them out, spray some WD40 thru it.
