72 front crossmember

    Hello all!!! my front crossmember(the one under the balancer)is bent to crap. called missouri outfitters and they dont make one for a 72.Question: if a want to raise it 6-8 inches in the future,do i need a special crossmember? and if i do does anyone know where i can get one?i need to replace it anyway.to go stock or custom,what to do. thanks

    The stock crossmember is a big V shape are you sure your's is bent?
