I have a `73 K5 with the stock drive train, dana 44 up front and 31 inch tires, I know kinda mild... but, I go through a set of front brakes every 10,000 miles, I've replaced the calipers, rotors, and master cylinder last time, but about every 10k it's time again. I installed new rear shoes with the last set of front pads. What gives? Help please.

    Thanks,

    Jim driving the BigUgly

Heavy pig of a truck. I'm running Rayspestos Gold Semi metalic. Seems to hold up well but I doubt I'm getting much more miles out of them. If you get in mud then feel lucky that your getting 10k out of them. they grind down fast from the dirt.
