What is my rear end gear ratio? If you answer this question, what book did you get it out of and where can I find a blazer option and code book? J541R@aol.com

You might try this question on the main 4WD page, lots more people look at it. I would count the number of tire rotations to driveshaft rotations if all else fails.

The best way to do it would be to take the cover off and count the number of teeth on the ring gear and divide it by the number of teeth on the pinion. This is the most acurate way to do it, and most people neglect to change the oil in the rear so you should do that anyway if you just got it. Good luck!
