    Hi there,

I'm a new poster with an old blazer (used to be my dad's). It's only
got about 77,000 miles on it. We haven't been driving it much because
of the gas costs. Now when I start it up, it will go into reverse, but
not in any other gear. The transmission fluid is new and full, and I
cannot figure out what the problem is. Any advice?

    Thanks,
    Jane

how long has it been sitting it could be bad(old) seals or a valve in the valve body could be sticking

Well, we brought it over to Hawaii in 97. I had the engine rebuilt in 99. Drove it all the time until gas got over $2 a gallon (that was a year ago here in paradise). So we haven't driven it much for the last six months.

I LOVE this truck! and want to keep it for another 50 years. (My dad would be proud)
