I have a good solid rebuilt 28 spline Posi that I can use IF it will fit the front diff of my K5... is the front diff a 28 or 30 spline... I don't want to convert it, I just want to be able to use my 28 spline diff if I can, at least for now! (Sorry, it's an 8.5" 10-bolt front diff. Is there any way to tell without pulling it apart???)

They only had 30 splines from 89ish to 91.
The majority of 10 bolts, therefore, are 28 spline since they started around 78/79.
