My local shop wants $130 apiece for 15x10 8 bolt rims.Is this about right?Seems kinda high to me.
cound be just right depending on the style rim...cheap painted steelies should be about 80$ or so depending on where you get them from.
50 bucks a piece at www.summitracing.com
Yeah it was for the steelies!I'll try summit thanks.
I got the white wagon wheels from Summit for like $40 a pop. What you putting them on? I spent at least 4 hours grinding to get the fronts to fit...
i got some procomp monster mod's for 60 bucks a pop... my brother just ordered some (offbrand) rims from summit for 35 bucks a pop or so i think the total was 158 shipped ... and they're not wagon wheels they have round holes too
I'm putting them on a 85 K5 with 14bff/d60.I will give Summit a call today.
Have fun with the grinding!!! I didn't!!
I LOVE to grind!!!
I usually have a blast grinding. Its that 4+ hours of constant grinding that makes your hands numb I dont like...
Good point!I can still here the grinder whining and smell of burnt metal the next day!
whats ur backspacing? ive been told that there is a possibility you might not have to grind with 3" back spacing
You would have to go 2.5 inch backspacing...
