    8 lug 15\" rim

Is there a backspacing on a 15" rim that would clear the caliper and backing plate? or am i gonna have to grind regaurdless? i was gonna use a 16" rim but a 15" would give me a bigger selection of tires.

there is a 3" backspacing chrome modular rock crawler from 4 wheelparts. But Im not posative that it will clear everything

You're probably going to have to grind reguardless, but 3" backspacing might help. But, I'd stay around the 4" range to keep your tires tucked in.
