Hey guys I'm kinda confused, I'm about to buy some 8 lug rims, I'm finally going 1ton on my 73K5 but I see 8 lug rims for #odge, for #ord, and for CHEVY is there a difference between all this or what should I look for when I get the rims for my 14 bolt rearend thanks and sorry if this is a stupid question.

AFAIK all the 8 lug paterns are the same except for the new fords (which went to a metric patern)
    I think it is 8 on 6.5"

I thought it was only newer rims off fords that wouldn't fit on older Chevy's. IE 99+. I may be way off base, but I thought any 8 lug rims from F*rd or D*dge would fit a Chevy. Except the 8 lug rims from Superduty Furds. Like I said I might be wa off base here.

dodge chevy and ford 8 lug rims are the same lug pattern (8 on 6.5) Where you may run into a problem is the center hole. Ford didnt change the bolt pattern until 99 & thats only on the super duties (8 on 170 mm). The newer chevy steel wheels may have to small of a center hole to fit over the hub of the 14 bolt. The new dodge wheels & the older body style ford wheels will still fit the 14 bolts.
Just make sure you test fit them before you buy them.
Also keep in mind if your running a dana 60 up frt to make sure the wheel will seat all the way. The 60's hub is larger than the 14 bolt hub. So you could find a wheel that fit on the rear but then might not fit the frt.
    Hope this helps
