do any of you guys think 800 dollars for a 72 bronco w/o engine and one door missing with min rust and strait body with decent paint worth it, also has a lift already on it, it does need new tires and a second door, not sure what the condition of the transmission becasue it cant be drivin ect.

those are getting very hard to find and more expensive. if it is indeed straight and only needs a door and a motor i'd go for it. that is if fords are you thing. now a 72 blazer in the same cond. now that would be better. course this is a chevy blazer board and all /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

yea! the older fords kick arse, it just seems that ford went backwards with the whole evolution thing so I wouldn't get a newer one or you can throw yur ford in the ground where it belongs when ya pass on. /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

That's not bad...they're getting to be worth more and more every year. My friends got a 77 with factory A/C, Power brakes 302/C4/Dana 300 9" rear/44 front. It's like its brand new! We just put energy suspension stuff all over it. It's been appraised at $16,000 'cause its in such good shape. I'd say, buy it and swap in Chevy stuff!!!!!!

I'd buy it. I've always had a soft spot for some of the Ford trucks. Even the pre-'78 Bronco's kicked a$$, too. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Go to truckstv.com and browse around to check out the Bronco that Stacy David is building. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
