    Just wondering if anyone has 800mhz or higher digtal trunking scanners....I would like to listen to the police, but can't with a standerd scanner....I know uniden make some with what they call Trunk tranker III....any more info on this subject would be great also I know some of the digital signals are 9600bds what scanners are capable of that kind of digital....???

    All you need to know: Uniden BC296D. Everything you need baby! Not cheap, but the best on the market for portables.

    BUT, for your $519.00, you get the only portable on the market that picks up every current digital and/or system and is programmable for two of the new systems coming out this year. I love mine. Glad my boss bought it for me.
