I am setting up a wireless LAN for the house so I can share the cable connection with our other computer and so I can stop burning CDs to move a file from one computer to another.
I already have a wireless 802.11b router/hub up and running. NExt week, I should have the PCI wireless adaptor card in and I'll install it in the other computer.

I have the router logging all activity (make sure kids keep it G rated.)
How do I restrict file transfer between the computers? I don't want want the kids to be able to browse my computer but I still want to be able to transfer files between the two. Is there a password system or do I have to manually share each file I want to be able to transfer....or do I make a "share' folder or what do I do?
I'm trying to figure out the basics of home networking but it's hard since I'm still waiting on the wireless adaptor.
