Does anyone know what vehicle the 80mm large calipers come from. Here's where I've found them available aftermarket:

    Stainless Steel Brakes
    TSM Manufacturing

I'm guessing they must come factory on some vehicle. And I'm betting someone here knows what.

    Thanks!

Only thing I can think of is to check some circle track supply places, and maybe Baer.

Just from looking at those calipers pictured, they look like aftermarket pieces. Thats a totally subjective observation, but typically the factory pieces don't seem to have such "clean lines". Then again, I think most aftermarket big brake stuff is dual piston, but I don't pay close attention to that stuff.

I mention circle track because they like to call everything after a certain date "metric". Those could be off of a Crown Vic or something?

I was hoping because it was cast iron and available from 2 different places it was off some vehicle. The one from TSM is rebuilt. Actually $100 for the calipers is not a bad price, maybe I'll just get them from TSM.

Yeah looking at them I'd just get the ones from TSM. Heck if I knew they'd work on my Burb I'd consider the upgrade.

What size are the stock 3/4 tons? ehh I start a new thread.
