I am trying to figure out what I should do for a trail monster I would like to start building. I have firmly decided on a K5 frame and reg cab pickup body but cant decide whether I want a 80's cab or a 90's cab. I have one of each (actually like 3 of the 80's cabs...) so purchase price is not a factor. The only drawback I can see to the 90's cab is fabbing body mounts, but I have some 3x6 1/4" tube that I think would work great for them. I am retaining the option of running doors one way or the other but I cant decide what I want to do. I will probably not be running any kind of grill or front fenders, just some tube work and plate aluminum. Here is the 90's cab I would use. I dont have any pics of any of the 80's cabs but they're all in prety sorry shape.
