I have an 81 Diesel Blazer for sale. It has a good body, black. Interior is ok. Great top. Someone added flowmasters to the dual exhaust. Runs great...although its a diesel. I was going to drop a gas big-block in it, but too many projects already. I'm asking $1500 OBO. Located in the San Jose, Ca. area. Thanks. John

Blazers never came with the early (shity 350) diesels right? If they did, then your going to have a hard time selling it. I too also thaught that 82 was the first year for the 6.2s

Is it really an 82 drivetrain? If it's 6.2 w/700R4, then anybody who knows about them will shy away. I would like to know about this '81 diesel. Weird.

To be honest, I'm not sure if its a 81 or an 82. I recently received the vehicle, but haven't even looked at the title. I beleive it is the 6.2. In CA., its perfect for the guy who wants to drop a gas engine in it.
