    Well here are some pics. We still have to diamond plate stuff but the structural welding is done. We also installed a dual thermostat housing with a rewelded neck and modified the throttle bracket. Also installed the 110 GPM penisular high flow water pump, and a new vibration dampner as well as front and rear main seals.

    Lookin good What you planing on doing for a top on the rear section. I had kind the same idea that I was working on I left the rear open like a truck bed and put a big sliding rag top over the cab but it had to many drive train + frame problems so I parted all of it out that I could. I would like to do another one some day.

    Diamond plate? Don't you mean JJLaughnerplate? /forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif

    Wow. I'm jealous. I've been wanting to do this for some time, put my second Chalet on such a truck... you know, your basic everyday crewcab Blazer with a factory camper /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

    ::sigh:: Someday...

    Very nice work but I decided to do the easier route, bought a crew cab.
    And since the crewcab was a long bed, I am shortening the frame and moving my axle forward so I will have the same size as a burb.
    Looks the same, and my burb is still intact.
    Actually it's so clean I should be shot if I mess with the body.

    Nice work guys. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

    I've seen a pic of a burb /forums/images/graemlins/hack.gif like yours ...he put up a marine cover w/ window that snaps on / off, as a rear barrier for inclimate weather. Just a thought.

    I'm going the easy way too. I've been looking for a Crew Cab ever since I ruined my 14 bolt. When I find one it's going on the Suburban frame.
