Is it a 4 bbl Quadrajet?

If it is, then it's rated around 750 cfm.

    305 carbs I've seen from '82 and '83 are the 795 (800) CFM units.

Dunno why GM went larger on the 305's, when emissions were more strict /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

750 CFM on a Quadrajet. The larger one's, 800 CFM were on big Buick's, and Oldsmobile's.

As I said before, thats not true. I could probably go out to my shed and pull the carb number to prove it beyond a shadow of a doubt, but I already know. Thats one of the reasons I bought it.

Even 307 Olds motors in the 80's had the 795CFM units.
