Looking at a Dana 60, matched gearing for me, just rebuilt, in my price range(for a dana 60) and it says its from a Dodge 250.

Well, '78-79, w/ the right option package, F250 had 'em and I've *heard* that some M880's (mil-spec 5/4 ton Dodges) had 'em even though all the M880s I've ever seen had D44s, so its is possible. Just go look and see if its a D60 so you can stop wondering.

Its in NJ so I can't just stop over and look. I'm going with the Dana 44 I guess. Maybe I will run 35s to help her survive. Save money and put a Dana 60 and new tires under it next summer.

Try asking on one of the Dodge pages.

Post the pic, but if it is just the cover no way to tell, if the cover is still on the axle and you can a little past we might be able to tell some thing. We could tell you if it's a Dana, but that is about it. Where in GA is it?
