    87 blazer, 350 4spd. UPDATE! It\'s parts Now!!!!

I go back to work next tuesday. I am cutting the truck Up THIS weekend. IT MUST GO MONDAY! The tranny and hydro clutch are taken. The fuel injection is up for sale, Tectin has expressed inerest it that. Power rear window and gate still up. axels?? anybody need engine??

It's an 87 blazer. It has a 350 CI fuel injected engine that was supposed to be rebuilt. It has the 4spd tranny with a 208 t-case. Hydro clutch. 10 bolts front and rear with 3.08 gears. The front had new ball joints and axels joints last winter. The outside of the of the body doesn't look bad, but it has alot of floor rust. I redid the drivers floor and put a rocker on so i could continue to drive it. This WAS my daily driver. The whole rear floor is rotted out. I put a 2x4 steel brace across the back, mounted to frame and body. And the POWER window tailgate works. It really opens and closes!! I did lay plywood down in the back just so the snow wouldn't fly in when I plowed!!

This truck WILL NOT pass a NY safety inspection. There are NO seatbelts, and no place to mount any on the passeger side(rust), The horn doesn't work, (took them for my 76) The E-brake cables are stuck. I do have a set for it. This truck runs and drives fine. just rotted all to hell!! It has 33x12.50's on some cheap steel 15x10's. I took all of the interior out and used it in my 76. I do have a carpet and a drivers seat in it from the 76. I also have the pass. seat. but never mounted it. There is NO speedo, But the sensor for it is still in it. I just took the head unit off. Some of the photo's show some 31's. I wanted to save them. I will take 500.00 for it with NO PLOW. 700.00 with the 31's(better tread than 33's) If you want it with the 31's AND the plow. I will take 1,100.00.

I may take this depending on how much longer it's for sale. I have 2 vehicles I have to sell first and you know how that goes /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

I might be looking for a stick set-up, not sure if my auto is 100% shot or not. If mine's done I might be willing to buy yours, if you are willing to part it out of one of the trucks?

    Re: 87 blazer, 350 4spd. MUST SELL

    It's not a K5 that I'm selling. I'm trying to pawn off an '83 Buick Century and a '90 Olds Cutlass /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Well, come to think of it, I would be willing to trade my '88 Cherokee, but I'd have to say it's worth a little more than that K5 (don't mean any offense /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif ). Hell, I'd trade you the Jeep plus some cash for both of the K5's. Maybe PM me if this remotely interests you? /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

If you decide to part it I could use the hydro clutch stuff.
The rear bed floor looks like it was hit with a rust bomb /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

    Re: 87 blazer, 350 4spd. UPDATE! It\'s parts Now!!!!

40.00 for both shaft's + shipping. The seat bases don't have any rust on them. Thats why i put them in the 76!! The 76 drivers seat is actually in the 87 now.
The Ebrake cables are NOT new. They were sold to me by a member in cali with the backing plates. NO RUST! I think I gave him 20 for them. The drivers side mirror is good. I broke the pass side glass. Objects REALLY are closer than they appear!! But the housing is good still. You can tighten the 2 bolts that hold the main pivot if yours are loose. If you pull the trim cover, There is a bracket that has 2 bolts on it thats part of the mounting. Just tighten them up a little.

    Re: 87 blazer, 350 4spd. UPDATE! It\'s parts Now!!!!

Would you be interested in pulling the hydo pedal assembly? TARussell will need a set for his project. He's converting an auto K5 to stick so I assume he'll need as much as you will give up (no actual clutch parts needed).

Let me know what you want for it. Thanks! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

BTW - are you going to be driving again? Coming this way? Bring the K5 - we need to ride!! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I am in niskayuna. 10 miles west of albany. Engine is still in truck and running. Most likely pull out till sat. From the history I got on the truck, If can believe them was that this was a GM Goddwrench replacement engine that "supposidly" had 25k when i got it. truck has 242,000 miles on it. Runs well. I put 30k on it in the 1 1/2 years I've daily driven this truck. Never had an engine problem If it wasn't for the MASSIVE rust, I would keep it!
