87 jimmy Transmission

    i blew a rubber trans line that the previous owner had put on, and now it wont shift into overdrive,and it wont shift gears unless your at high rpms. did i blow something up or is it a quick fix? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

    Did you add some ATF to make up for what was lost? If you haven't added any, there probably isn't enough fluid in there to create pressure for the shifts.

    rubber trans line?? the quick fix was the guy who put that on....anyway i agree with checkin the fluid. if u drove to long u might of burned it up

    fluid is full so i guess i toreit up. next question is,I have a turbo 350 trans will it bolt up to my transfer case?
