i have a chance to buy an 87 fuel injected 350, if i do get it i would have to set it up for a carb, can i use a standard alum sb intake or do i have to get the special one with the center bolts straight up and down?

Could I ask why you "have" to switch it to carb?

does it require a special intake for carbs, or will the on off my 76' 350 work?

The centerbolt heads have a slightly different bolt pattern. You'll either need a special intake or you'll have to modify yours with a drill bit.
