88 and up 14 bolt sf 6 lug ??

    Can I use a 14 bolt sf 6 lug from a 1989 2500 for my 88 k-5 ?? will my wheels bolt on or what is the difference ?? /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

    Yes, you can use it, just a matter of relocating the spring perches to the proper location.

    Thanks I found 2 donor trucks a 1985 2500 and an 89 2500 I want to keep my 6 lug wheels due to $$ so I guess I will get the 89 and relocate the perches to fit thanks /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

    Are the frame rails different between the pickups and Blazers?
    My buddy just swapped in a 14SF into his 90 pick up and it was a direct bolt on.
    I know that Burbs have them and the perches are the same on them as any other axle.

    A 90 pick up.
    Isn't the perch width the same on blazers and burbs till 91?
    Did the perch width change on pickups when they went to IFS ?

    The perch width is wider on the '88 and newer pickups. Gotta relocate them inboard more to fit the '91 and older blazers and subs.
