89 burb question

    hey everyone new member here i do alot wheeling in my older fords and chevy's but this spring or summer we plan to do take out 89 3/4 ton suburban and give it a make over the paint is peeling the heater needs to be fixed along with other stuff.Im sporting a fuel injected 454 in it ive had a few freinds convert two wheel drive trucks into 4x4's what is a complete list of what id need to buy and what would need to be changed if this was a 73-87 ford or chevy id have no problem but im not very famamlir with this year truck..mike /forums/images/graemlins/burb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/usaflag.gif

    An 89 burb has the same everything except mabey computer controlled things. as for converting, its just like an 87 LB from underneth /forums/images/graemlins/burb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

    Um, what do you mean what needs to be changed? It looks like you said it already has a 454 in it...
