I have an 89 k5 with tbi. I have always toyed with the idea of adding a chip to it but never done any real looking into it. Does anyone know if they make a chip for mine and is it worth getting?

89K5 payed 3k for the rig, spent almost 7k in the last 6 months on upgrades!!!!

    Hey DBlazer,

There are some out there. I have been told by the manufacturers to expect somewhere between 10 and 20 HP
at the rear wheel. What does that mean in terms of
performance? I dunno? :-) I have been toying with the
exact same upgrade but have been leary that I would see
    little if any gain.

Would love to hear from someone with real world on this
one on "felt difference". One of the companies had a money
back guarantee, that might be an easy way to find out...
Downside to most of them was that they wanted to use 92 octane (or better) fuel.

Look forward to hearing from someone who KNOWS! :-)
