8lug to 6lug conversion... I know its been covered but I can't find it

    8lug to 6lug conversion... I know its been covered but I can\'t find it

    I found a 14bff with the right gears for my silver truck. I want to make it 6lug so I dont have to buy new wheels and mess with the front. So to widen the rear I'm thinking 8lug-to-6lug adapter... /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

    Looks interesting, I may be interested in that myself. How would your brake hardware workout then when using those adapters?

    what ever happened to the 8 lug to 6 lug whee; pattern change thread and pics ? must be in archives,
    would be safer and better than using an adapter, ill never personally drive any vehicle with such a prt on it as in the pic above,

    no way.
