8lug wheels

    does anyone know what the cheapest , but decent, 8 lug rim would be? Who makes it and who sells it? Thanks!

    I bought mine from 4WPW for $50 each.
    Discount tire sells, I've heard, a similar one for $30.

    you might want to peek at these guys.. When i put in my 14bolt, it was a simple way to move to 8lug.. for not too much $$$ Truck-n-Rv Supply

    K, another queston... how do you know how much backspacing you have? and can you fit 15" rim on 14bff? Thanks

    Okay, yes the steel 15" rims will fit over a 14 Bolt FF.(Don't know about Alu.) If you wanta line your tires up (front axle is wider then rear axle) you would use 4" back spacing for the fronts and 2.5" back spacing for the rears. Recomend your spare be 4" back spacing. Better to look weird on the rear with the spare the rubbing up front with the spare.

    WHat would diff be between the steel and aluminum and chrome? (fitting a 14bff wise)

    Aluminum requires a thicker amount of material to provide the same strength as steel. This means that the thicker 15" will have a smaller inside diameter, MAYBE not fitting over the drum.
    Chrome wheels are steel wheels, just with a pretty finish. Those will fit fine.
