If this tribute doesn't leave you with a lump in your throat followed by extreme rage, you have no heart.

Each year on the anniversary of 9/11/01 I host this file on my server as a reminder: Never Forget I'm a little early this year because I saw a documentary on it tonight and wanted to get it up early this year.

    http://www.redlinebillings.com/attack.swf

Please enjoy it, show your friends, family and coworkers. The only thing I ask is that you don't copy the link and post it on other message boards. I only have so much bandwidth and it is a 7mb file, so if it were to spread around the net It would surely overload me. Feel free to save it and host it on your sever if you want to post it on another forum. I should say that I didn't create it and hold no copyright to it, I just saved it when I saw it and host it each year for friends & family to see because. Even 5 years later, it brings me to tears.

    Never forget!

I don't see how anyone can forget 9.11.

I never will, I think about it atleast once every single day... its the biggest thing that has happened during my lifetime really. The only thing that even comes close is the fall of the Soviet Union. As far as the numbers of peoples affected, that was bigger... but they weren't Americans (the ones who were now free in old USSR republics, East Europe etc). People who were alive back when JFK got shot thought that was a "big deal" and everyone remembers where they were when they heard. Not to bash on the crusty old people around here, but that wasn't chit compared to 9-11. Pearl Harbor wasn't either, mainly because it was a military target engaged during a World War.

9.11 was definitely a watershed event. It really annoys me when the left talks about foriegn policy decisions as if 9.11 had never happened. Comparing what we did before 9.11 to what we are doing now, and using that as some sort of defense for their stupid policy ideas is just a joke. Everything has changed... and those people unwilling to adapt to that paradigm shift are very much like the western Europeans who set out to fight "WWI all over again" in 1939 against the Germans. Simply won't work, unless losing is your objective.

As a capitalist, NYC is Mecca... as an architecture student, the twin towers captured my imagination. Attacking them was no different for me than it would be to a Muslim if the US nuked Mecca and dumped a gazillion gallons of pig fat on the smoldering ruins. Until our terrorist enemies and their supporters are crushed once and for all (like Nazism in 1945), my ideological war against radiacal Islam will never end. Any time any doubt creeps into my mind about this issue, an image of falling bodies from the towers pops into my head.

I know that I will NEVER forget the events of that day. That being said, I cannot watch it anymore. No documenteries nor special presentations. I am forever thankful that nobody that I know was lost during that cowardly atack on American civilians. Watching the smoke rising from the burning rubble every day and knowing that there were children in the girlfriend's fourth grade class who had gone to school with two parents and come home to one is enough for me. I literally get chills everytime I see someting like that. And it make me feel even worse now that they are winning, making the rest of the world live in fear.....

Doesn't it just make you feel warm and fuzzy knowing that Klinton and Sandy Burgler have censored a major television mini series about 9.11? And they say the right wing always tries to stop the freedome of speech.... did Bush stop Farenheit 911??!?!!
