OK now that I have you in here /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif
Those who have them how did you mount your harnesses in your cage setup? What seats are you using? Needs to have a wide seat, no sidebars or high edges /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I won these on ebay (yes $9.99+shipping and stuff (still $34 shipped for a set of two)

Thought about doing a cross bar at the doors, with two bars going from the driver side to passengers side like this (ignore the back two bars)

and mounting the seats and console inside the cage on the crossbars...

Think it would be good enough?

Curiousity... What is "CHEAP"? Looks like the right idea... I plan on going that route with mine once I get the cage in! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

With belts like that you want the mounts for the shoulder belts on either side of your neck straight down your back as possible. For the lap belts, in the normal mount points. Hope this helps. Good luck you y'all.

Good price, but the $18 shipping and handling is kinda steep. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

This shows fairly clearly how mine are mounted.

    Hmmm, looks familiar... /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

[Edit] BTW, mine have the clip on ends but that's not going to really change the mounts. The shoulder straps on the Corbeau straps is very long so the grab handle thing was added as a support to redirect the strap to a loop mounted on the lower cage section (and take up some length). The loops I used were mostly chain links with one end of the loop cut off and the points beveled for a very solid small fillet weld. The side mounts needed to be taller to clear the floor so they were made with a split link normally used for splicing chains. Added bene of the split link is it gave me 2 horizontal sections to weld and horizontal stability in all directions.
