    \'90 Suburban TBI engine questions

Does anyone know what a '90 Suburban engine is worth, with TBI, Computer, wiring harness, etc...
I saw one at a local junkyard complete (minor rollover)still in the vehicle and I want to make an offer. I just don't know what it is worth. I have not asked what they want for it. I am sure it runs and has around 80K miles. I believe it is a 350 ci.

Let me know boys and gals....

Would go for about 5 to 600 bucks here at the yard I use. He gives me good prices though, so probably a little more than that.

I just called the 'yard. He said $850 exchange. That means I will have to give up an old 350 I have. This comes with the Wiring harness, Computer, Pulleys, Brackets, TBI, Alternator, PS pump, AC pump, and Complete engine. I will go an check the mileage. Does this sound expensive?

Here is the breakdown he gave me:

$600 + exchange for the Motor
$250 for TBI, harness, computer, and acc.(if purchased in package)

He will sell: $450 for a complete TBI system alone. (from another vehicle)

This motor is in a clean 2WD '90 Suburban (rollover). I bought some parts for my '89-'91 grille conversion off of it so I checked it all out. I forgot to check the mileage though. Let me know what ya think.

Would really depend on milage. I can get a Vortek350 out of an 97 van, the whole enchalada like you were saying, everything but the damn fuel pump. Its got 17k miles on it. Can get if for 1400 bucks.

With the price of the crate engines, $1200.00 for a 330 hp 350 I don't know if I would bother with a used engine.
