I drove a fully loaded 91 today that we are looking at for Donna. It is clean with almost no rust. It is about the nicest northern K5 I have seen. It is black with red interior. They want $5250 for it. What do ya'll think???? 93,000 miles on it, and I did talk him down from $6000 to $5250. I tried $5000 but he could not go that low. It has every option for that year, even the power mirrors and they all work.

Seams a little high but if it has every option then it might be worth it. how about mileage?

I would bring them $4500 cash. No one can pass up cash in their face.

Sounds pretty decent. Offer them $4800. How many miles? I paid $2800 for my '86 w/ the Silverado package and 14,000 miles on a rebuild (they were asking $3500).

You could try to talk down the cost some.... but IMO even if you paid $5,000 that's not the end of the world. If it's rust free and runs good and has good parts then why not. Sometimes due to location and what you have to choose from you spend more to get what you want. Besides if you got it for her and ended up dumping into another $5,000 more to upgrade stuff over the next couple of years you're still miles ahead of anything new she could get at a dealership.... /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

I would bring the $5000 in cash, if you can get it.

Around here in Phx AZ $5250 would be considered a good deal.
Of course I would still try the $5000 cash one last time! with the cash displayed !
