    \'91 top

can you take the tops off the 81-88 blazers and put it on a '91, i've heard that they are lighter, and also where can you get replacement belts for blazers, i wanna go from having the shoulder stapsin the rear and just use ''lap belts''.

The shoulder to lap: Get a seat from a model year blazer with the lap belts INCLUDING the floor connectors. Salvage one from an '88 or lower. You will need to check the bolt patterns on the seats( they should be the same). Bolt in the seat and drill a hole for the floor connectors. For safety sake use a 5"L x 3"W piece of 16ga. galvinized to strengthen the floor. Bolt it together, from top to bottom, in the sequence bolt, washer, seat belt connector, floor, plate, washer, lock washer, blue lock-tite, nut. If you have any questions PM me.

My 1990 is graced with the top off my old 1976. It bolts up just fine. Had to get creative to mount the top of the shoulder belts, but it worked.

Why do people keep calling it a Bronco!!!!!

My '89 only has the lap belts in the rear. So that should increase your year range a bit

Bone stock '89 K5..... except for my "Colorado K5.com" sticker. This site rocks!!

you dont have to do anything! just do what i did--pull the slack out of the celing retainer and cut it off, sew the end so the latch wont fall off-your done (its already fastened to the floor on one end)
