92 and newer Blazers with Manual Trannys?

    Does anyone know if the newer 92 K1500 Blazers came with manual trannys?

    Some did, but they're comparitively rare - mostly in the stripper models.

    hey pugs

    do you know if i can swap a newer 5 spd manual/odrve trans into a 77K5 ???
    its still auto and im lookin for a std set up...pedals in got clutch and bell
    will it bolt up/work with my case/bell or am i lookin for a complete driveline ???
    any body done thisssss ?????.....

    I put the NV4500 5 speed in without much problem. Advance Adapters sells the bellhousing and hardware you'll need if you have to adapt to 205 transfer case, otherwise 208 or 241 just bolt up to trans.

    87 K5, D60, 14FF, NV4500 & NP208
    Build it Bulletproof and take it fishing!

    If you are go with the NV4500 use the GM part for it much cheaper the Advanced Adapter and much nicer parts

    The 5 speed overdrive manuals found in the 88 and newer 1/2 tons are not NV 4500's, they are more or less a car tranny made by getrag. They do not have a separate bell housing and do not have a granny low first gear. Just a heads up in case you're looking for one.
