    my friend has a 92 S-10 Blazer 4x4 and wants to know what kind of transfer case and tranny he has?? can anybody help me out? thanx /forums/images/graemlins/ears.gif

    T-case is a NP231 if it manual shift, or NP233 if its push-button. Tranny is a Getrag if its 5-speed, or a TH700 if its auto.

    cool..yea he has the push button 4wd, but his 4HI doesnt work? any ideas? his 4LO works but u can just have 4LO u know?

    Probably the electric shift motor - most common problem with these t-cases. Shop carefully... you might be able to land an entire manual shift t-case for the cost of a new motor.
