    \'95 Yukon \"Electronic Spark Timing\" Bypass

Today I was trying to check the base ignition timing on my '95 Yukon with 5.7 L TBI (non-vortec) engine.

I need to bypass the Electronic Spark Timing (EST) according to the emissions decal on the truck and the Haynes manual. My Haynes only indicates a plug behind a relay cover on the upper passenger side firewall. My Yukon doesn't have the relay cover indicated (or the plug), but has a fuse/relay center on the driver's side below the master cylinder.

Needless to say, I scanned around the relay center and the wiring harness looking for a plug with a tan/black stripe wire coming into it. No Luck.

Does anyone know how to, or have a manual that says how to disconnect the EST on a '95?????

    Thanks,

    -Ben

Should be inside the cab, in a bundle down by the blower motor under the dash.

Should be a tan wire with black tracer.
