I am so..zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz... tired. I am about to fall a sleep at work so I need to ask a question. It will wake me up and I can find more info for my burb.

How much trouble and money would it cost to get my 76 burb's Air conditioning working again. It is still set up on the R12 (?), the clutch is busted on the compressor but the bearing still feels semi smooth. There is no pressure on the system so I am not sure if someone drained it or it all leaked. How effective will it be for cooling the burb off. Would I have to change all of the lines, compressor, or other stuff?

I really have no clue about where to start but being in Texas with 2 young kids with the average temp like 200 degrees or something during summer, it might be worth the trouble.
