    anyone out there put ac in a trunk that didnt have it originally, im going to get the unit from a junked full size chevy and just want to know if theres anything special i need besides the basic setup and the ductwork brackets and control modual

    I have done it to an '81 Chevy stepside. It was fairly straight-forward, just try to get all the parts you can off the donor. Replace the dryer/accumulator and the orfice tube. Clean all the lines, condensor, and evaporator with the proper solvent or alcohol. Here is a site that has good info: http://www.aircondition.com
