I'm just letting everyone know that Joe know on ck5 as "k5junkie" is in the hospital and in serious condition. I wouldn't normally post something like this but it's odd and makes you think when it hits close to home. Joe is only 26 yrs old and in good physical shape not over weight or anything. He had a "STOKE" Tuesday (Dec. 18) yes a stroke. I've never heard of anyone that young having this happen. He is in the hospital and is in serious condition. I guess I'm just asking everyone to keep a fellow ck5'r in there thoughts and/or prayers. I'm probably the only one close enough to visit him so I'll do my best to keep you guys in formed. Thanks!

WOW, I have heard that before about young people that have a real crummy diet for years on end. Fast food everyday, sometimes only fast food for moths at a time. Never realy taking the time to eat right! Then bam! Stroke!
    So eat your veggies people!!
I truly hope he pulls out of this and when he does I'm sure we would like to hear from him!
    Thanks and keep us posted....

I hope he recovers well and doesn't suffer many ill effects from it. I know when older people have then they can loose mobility and stuff. Please keep us informed. I wish Joe and his family the best.

What a drag, especially during the holidays. He is in our prayers. Thankfully, stroke/CVA victims younger than 50 typically recover with no lasting effects, and are usually treatable with drugs only.

Thanks everyone for your blessing and prayers. I'm going to speak with his wife tonight and do my best to see him Sat. I'm going to ask her what she thinks about me printing these reponses out and bringing them to him just to let him know everyone is pulling for him. I'll keep everyone updated as I find anything out. I do know he is having a procedure today to correct the blockage so we'll just hope for the best.

    Joe-
Hang in there bud we'll be wheeling before you know it!!!!

Joe is in my prayers. I hope he gets well soon. This is a wakeup call. Seems like we have had several health related posts lately. I will tell my family to pray as well.
